Knauf needed an electronic version of their paper partition selector to be included on a CD-ROM as well as being distributed to customers on floppy disk or via the Internet.
The Partition Selector uses a wizard to guide users through performance criteria such as fire and sound as well as physical characteristics like maximum thickness and weight. This produces a range of possible solutions from which the user can chose the best match for their needs. A full written specification is then produced together with the required CAD detail drawings. Wavin manufacture a range of sloping surface water drainage channels to remove rain water from large car parks, airport taxi ways etc. The tapered channels can be combined with flat changes to from drainage runs in excess of 100m.
The area of paving that the drainage run can service needs to be calculated and a schedule off all the channels and outlets needs to be created and priced. Home |
